Job summary

The South Bend Clinic in Granger, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join Family Medicine. This full-time role supports a busy clinic with a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule and patient care within the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities include triage, assisting with clinical procedures, documenting care, verifying insurance, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication and multitasking abilities in

• Provides ongoing triage and management of office flow to meet patient needs and maintain optimal patient flow.
• Performs the technical component of clinical procedures competently.
• Documents all patient care thoroughly and accurately in the EMR.
• Verifies patient insurance coverage for pre-certification and authorizations and documents in Epic.
• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines and clinic policies.
• Cross-trains in other positions as needed by management.
