Job summary

freudigmanbillings is seeking Test Proctors for its Admissions Test Prep program, administering and supervising ACT, SAT, ISEE, and SSAT exams on-site at the Westport, CT center. Proctors train on exam procedures and quality measures, and must be available for full testing blocks.

Duties include check-in, scoring, and recording exams, managing multiple tests, and providing high-quality customer service to students and parents. Strong attention to detail and Mac data-entry skills are required.

  • Identify areas of improvement in testing-related communication chain.
  • Maintain confidentiality of testing materials and student scores.

Job description

This is not a remote position.

Test Proctors play an important role in our Admissions Test Prep program. Test Proctors administer, monitor, and score multiple-choice ACT, SAT, ISEE, and SSAT exams that allow our team to design, implement, and monitor individualized prep plans for our students. Our Proctors are fully trained onsite on the proper procedures for each exam type and the company quality measures they are responsible for maintaining.

Practice tests are held in-person at our center in Westport, CT on the following days/times:

  • Mid-August through mid-June:
    • Saturdays from 8am to 3pm
    • Sundays from 8am to 1pm
  • Mid-June though mid-August:
    • Fridays from 8am to 3pm and 1pm to 5pm
    • Saturdays from 8am to 3pm

Proctors must be available to work during at least one full testing block. Preference will be given to individuals who can work multiple shifts and who are flexible about which day(s) they can work. A track record of success may lead to a long-term position or additional days of work.

Compensation is $20 per hour. Please be sure to highlight your experience working with high school students, detailed data entry, and standardized exams.
