Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic problem solving and communication required.

• Prior machining experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Layout and section off test material.
• Turn, facing, form grind, threading of cylindrical specimens; polish and redline.
• Turn and facing of etch samples; saw, shape, mill and surface grind rectangular specimens.
• Prepare etched samples.
• Produce test specimens via Hot Compression Tester and related equipment with IFPTE techs.
• Store, scrap and dispose of production test material.
• Store, scrap and dispose of acceptance material.
• Experimental heat treat operations.
• Pick-up and delivery of test material.
