SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Test Manager for a direct hire, remote opportunity. (Candidates should reside in one of the following states: SC, NC, GA, FL, AL, VA, TX, or TN). The candidate will lead end-to-end testing efforts supporting major banking system implementations and integrations, ensuring high-quality delivery across complex enterprise initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to define test strategy, manage execution, and support successful rollout of critical banking platforms.
Required Qualifications of the Test Manager

- 5–7 years of experience in QA, testing, or test management within enterprise environments
- Strong background in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management
- Experience using test management tools such as QTest or UiPath
- Proficiency with Jira for defect tracking, workflow management, and reporting
- Experience using Visio for process mapping, workflow diagrams, and documentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex system requirements
- Experience working in cross‑functional teams including developers and business stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting large‑scale system implementations or integrations
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Test Manager
- Banking or financial services industry experience
- Exposure to loan origination or loan servicing platforms (LOS systems)
- Experience with mortgage, consumer lending, or core banking systems
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation or modernization programs
Responsibilities of the Test Manager
- Define and execute overall test strategy across large‑scale banking initiatives
- Develop and manage detailed test plans, test cases, and execution schedules
- Coordinate testing activities across QA teams, developers, and business stakeholders
- Track, manage, and report defects using Jira and ensure timely resolution
- Support process mapping and documentation using Visio
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout system implementation and integration efforts
