Job summary

Qualifications

Purpose of the RoleResponsible for leading and supporting a team of technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and service activities.Key Responsibilities and Duties- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of technicians.- Assign workloads and prioritize resources to meet project and customer requirements.- Provide advanced technical support for troubleshooting and repairs.- Review work quality and ensure compliance with company standards.- Develop and maintain testing, commissioning, and service procedures.- Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians.- Support customer issue resolution and escalate concerns as needed.- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and ISO procedures.- Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.Required Competencies- Education: Relevant electrical, mechanical, controls, automation, or power generation background.- Experience: Technical leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience with power generation, switchgear, controls, and industrial equipment.- Skills: Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical, mechanical, engine, generator, and control systems; read electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and network drawings; configure, commission, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, generator controls, and power management systems; knowledge of paralleling switchgear, ATSs, synchronization, load sharing, and power distribution systems; working knowledge of Modbus, CANbus, and Ethernet networks; perform root cause failure analysis; create procedures and training materials; provide technical leadership for technicians.
