Martin Energy Group in Tipton, Missouri seeks a Test Manager to lead a team of technicians in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service activities for power generation equipment.

You will supervise workloads, provide advanced technical support, and develop procedures while ensuring safety and ISO compliance across projects.

• Bachelor or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, controls, automation, or power generation.
• Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems with supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and network drawings; diagnose complex issues.

Test Manager# Test ManagerTipton - Martin Energy - Tipton, MO 65081## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## DescriptionPurpose of the RoleResponsible for leading and supporting a team of technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and service activities.Key Responsibilities and Duties- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of technicians.- Assign workloads and prioritize resources to meet project and customer requirements.- Provide advanced technical support for troubleshooting and repairs.- Review work quality and ensure compliance with company standards.- Develop and maintain testing, commissioning, and service procedures.- Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians.- Support customer issue resolution and escalate concerns as needed.- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and ISO procedures.- Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.## QualificationsRequired Competencies- Education: Relevant electrical, mechanical, controls, automation, or power generation background.- Experience: Technical leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience with power generation, switchgear, controls, and industrial equipment.- Skills: Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical, mechanical, engine, generator, and control systems; read electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and network drawings; configure, commission, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, generator controls, and power management systems; knowledge of paralleling switchgear, ATSs, synchronization, load sharing, and power distribution systems; working knowledge of Modbus, CANbus, and Ethernet networks; perform root cause failure analysis; create procedures and training materials; provide technical leadership for technicians.
