Job summary

Mokon in Buffalo, NY is seeking a dedicated technician to support testing of liquid circulating temperature control systems. You will perform mechanical and electrical setup, verify performance, troubleshoot, and document results as part of a quality-driven manufacturing team.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with engineering, customer service, and sales, with a focus on meeting ISO 9001 standards and environmental policy guidelines while contributing to throughput improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Refrigeration certification is a plus.
• Employees must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible to apply for open positions: At least six (6) months of service with the company; At least six (6) months in their current position; No record of disciplinary action within the past six (6) months.

Responsibilities

• Connect and disconnect units mechanically and electrically to test line.
• Verify units perform to all specifications per model code and option code.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform repairs.
• Setup and calibrate mechanical and electrical components.
• Accurately complete quality control worksheets with test data results.
• Provide on-site support to engineering, customer service, sales, and customers.
• Recommend process improvements to test line to increase throughput.
• Responsible for complying with the company's Environmental Policy Manual, applicable work instructions and reporting any environmental non-conformance and/or potential non-conformance to supervision or management.
• Adhere to work instructions and SOP's in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Other duties may be assigned.
