Job summary

AtWork Group in Texas is seeking a hardware test technician to lead and perform specialized hardware testing, troubleshoot servers, networking equipment, BIOS/UEFI, RAID, and network interfaces. You will develop and document testing procedures and SOPs, build and maintain test environments, and train technicians.

The role requires strong knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and networking, plus TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, switching, and routing.

Job description Pay: $18–$20/hour | Full-Time

What You’ ll Do:

• Lead and perform specialized hardware testing and troubleshooting
• Configure and troubleshoot servers, networking equipment, Windows, BIOS/UEFI, RAID, and network interfaces
• Develop and document testing procedures and SOPs
• Build and maintain test environments
• Train and support technicians
• Work with Engineering and Operations to improve testing processes and quality
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and networking issues

What We’ re Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and networking
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, switching, and routing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Enterprise hardware experience is a plus
• CompTIA or Cisco certifications are a plus
