Daikin Applied is seeking a Test Lab Supervisor for the Plymouth labs to lead the ComponentTestingTeam. The role involves directing testing procedures, analyzing data, and collaborating with engineers to optimize product testing. A technical degree with 8+ years of relevant experience is preferred, along with strong leadership.

This 2nd shift position runs 2:00pm–12:30am in Minnesota and offers growth opportunities with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and advises personnel in special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of materials.
• Compiles and analyzes test information to determine operating efficiency and diagnose malfunctions.
• Confers with engineers to conduct analyses, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.
• Adjusts formulas and processes based on test results.
• Tests and analyzes sample products.
• Prepares test protocols for use by laboratory personnel.
• Conducts research to develop custom products and investigates complaints.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet testing schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve testing procedures and use of equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Maintains time and testing records.
• Calibrates, maintains, and diagnoses issues for test instrumentation.
• Specifies and submits purchase requisitions for test equipment.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 to $136,800 (with a 10% bonus) in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
