IDEAL Industries in Sterling, MA, seeks a Test Lab Supervisor to lead the Compliance Test Laboratory, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will coordinate testing programs, manage workload, and ensure adherence to approved procedures and industry standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing, and the ability to mentor Lab Technicians while maintaining audit-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in lab, product-validation, or manufacturing.
• Experience supervising laboratory staff.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar QMS.
• Ability to lead root-cause analysis.
• Strong planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the Compliance Test Laboratory.
• Prioritize work and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Coach and develop Lab Technicians and Senior Technicians.
• Review test plans and ensure traceability to requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and external test agencies.
