Job summary

nVent seeks an Engineering Test Lab Supervisor to lead the Anoka Test Lab, supporting development and validation of cooling and enclosure solutions for critical infrastructure and data centers. You will manage technicians, coordinate workloads, and ensure equipment readiness while partnering with design and R&D engineers on testing activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process optimization, and collaboration in a global electrical solutions company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred.
• At least 1 year of direct people leadership experience.
• Experience in engineering test lab, product testing, or validation required.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and data-driven evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a group of test technicians; provide daily direction and coaching.
• Coordinate technician assignments, equipment, instrumentation, and lab resources.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and R&D Test Engineers on prototype and validation testing.
• Monitor progress, resolve test setup and equipment issues, and improve lab throughput.
