Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate electrical subsystems, including motor controllers, sensors, cameras, networking interfaces, and power systems.
• Lead hands-on system bring-up, integration, debugging, and validation across prototype and production.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot systems spanning Linux platforms and STM32 firmware.
• Use laboratory instruments to identify power, signal integrity, timing, and communication issues.
• Develop and execute test procedures for electrical, communication, subsystem, and system-level requirements.

Test Integration Engineer to join our team, focusing on system integration, bring-up, debugging, and validation of our next-generation autonomous weapon platforms. This role is highly hands-on and involves working across electrical, mechanical, and software systems to diagnose issues, improve reliability, and ensure systems perform in real-world conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Integrate and validate electrical subsystems, including motor controllers, sensors, cameras, networking interfaces, and power systems.
• Lead hands-on system bring-up, integration, debugging, and validation throughout prototype development and production.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot systems spanning Linux-based computing platforms and STM32-based embedded firmware.
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power measurement equipment, and other laboratory instrumentation to identify power, signal integrity, timing, and communication issues.
• Develop, document, and execute test procedures covering electrical, communication, subsystem, and system-level requirements.
• Support field testing and operational deployments, investigating failures and driving root-cause analysis through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to improve system robustness, reliability, diagnosability, and testability.
• Design and maintain test fixtures, cable harnesses, and automated test tools to streamline development and validation.
• Support the integration and qualification of new hardware revisions, ensuring design changes meet functional and performance requirements.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in hardware bring-up, electrical integration, system validation, or test engineering.
• Strong practical experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other laboratory instrumentation.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware debugging.
• Strong command-line experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with common electrical and communication interfaces, including CAN, Ethernet, RS-422/485, UART, and I²C.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, C, C++, or similar languages.
• Understanding of real-time system constraints and hardware-software integration challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively across hardware and software boundaries.
• A collaborative, hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll Stand Out

• Hands-on experience with high-power electronics, motor-driven systems, battery-powered platforms, or other complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), automated testing, or system-level validation environments.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux platforms, including Yocto, Ubuntu, or similar distributions.
• Understanding of EMI/EMC principles, signal integrity, and challenges associated with field reliability.
• Experience supporting field testing, operational deployments, or real-world system validation.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose intermittent, difficult-to-reproduce, or system-level failures across complex hardware and software systems.
