Job summary

Energetics Technology Center (ETC) is seeking a full-time Test and Evaluation Data Analysis Engineer in Indian Head, MD. The role focuses on processing, interpreting, and reporting data from complex test events, turning raw data into traceable findings for engineering decisions.

Occasional travel and some remote flexibility may be required based on program needs. The candidate will work with test leads and instrumentation engineers to define analysis needs, develop workflows, and produce reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; master's preferred.
• Experience with engineering data analysis and reporting.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze pressure, high-speed video, thermal, and other time-resolved data.
• Produce quick-look summaries identifying results and data quality issues.
• Synchronize data from multiple instrumentation systems.
• Develop reproducible workflows for data reduction, visualization, quality control, and archival.
• Apply engineering judgment and statistics to identify trends and uncertainty.
• Assist test planning by reviewing instrumentation and data needs before events.
• Evaluate results against objectives, acceptance criteria, and model outputs.
• Prepare technical reports and data packages for engineers and government customers.
• Coordinate with test personnel to resolve missing or questionable data.
