Job summary

Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Associate Project Engineer, Test Equipment, to design and develop hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic test systems for Moog products across military, commercial, and space programs.

You will lead design efforts, coordinate drafts, technicians, and program teams, manage budgets and schedules, and help validate concepts through trade studies and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience.
• Experience in design, analysis, development and production of complex electromechanical hardware.
• Self-starting instincts and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with component design, development and verification testing.
• Ability to communicate technical and programmatic information and manage priorities.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
• MS Project experience is a plus.
• PMP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor engineering project budgets and schedules.
• Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
• Prepare successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and write the technical volume.
• Coordinate and support the assembly of test equipment.
• Work with internal program teams to design test equipment, systems architecture and interfaces.
