Job summary
Moog Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer, Test Equipment to join the Space & Defense group in East Aurora.
This onsite role supports design and development of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic test equipment used to test Moog products for military, commercial, and space applications. You will plan and conduct independent evaluation of engineering techniques, devise new approaches, and lead a team in designing and testing equipment that
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; on-site work in East Aurora, NY.
Responsibilities
- Design specialized test equipment and systems architecture for Moog products.
- Lead design processes and provide technical leadership within program scope.
- Develop system-level requirements and verify test equipment performance.
- Design linear/rotary test equipment to support development and production.
- Use MATLAB/Simulink to model system performance and margins.
- Coordinate equipment assembly and perform verifications.
