Job summary

Moog Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, Test Equipment to design and develop hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism and electro-pneumatic test systems for Moog products.

The role spans architecture, interface definition and validation within cross-functional teams in the Space & Defense Group. You will establish budgets and schedules, lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and coordinate draughting, testing and production activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 3 years leading technical projects.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Experience with design, analysis, development and production of complex electromechanical hardware.
• Strong communication and coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor project budgets and schedules.
• Lead design of test equipment, systems and interfaces.
• Coordinate drafts, technicians, designers and engineers across teams.
• Provide technical leadership within Moog’s program scope.
• Mentor junior engineers and support program teams.
