Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is seeking a Maintenance Support Technician to help operate and maintain specialized testing equipment in our North America facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate pneumatic and electrical systems on test rigs and manage spare parts inventory.

The role requires collaboration with test technicians and production supervision to resolve issues and uphold preventive maintenance programs while communicating with suppliers for equipment support.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Support operation and upkeep of specialized testing equipment.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electrical systems on test rigs.
Ensure proper calibration and preventive maintenance; manage spare parts inventory.
Collaborate with test technicians and production supervisor to resolve daily issues.
Initiate/drive communication with suppliers for equipment support.
