You will develop and lead a technical design from start to finish, working with mechanical engineers and a project engineer to craft practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering program and actively enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Pursuing Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering fields is acceptable.

What You Will Do:

• Gain design experience of Special Test Equipment (STE) while working with electrical and operations engineers to develop complex systems needed to support jet engine testing.
• Develop and lead a technical design from start to finish.
• Work closely with a team of mechanical engineers and a project engineer to develop solutions.
• Anticipated travel is less than 10%.

What You Will Learn:

• STE systems range from fuel, air, hydraulic & lube systems, structural engine frames, inlet screens and ducts, exhaust collectors, thrust measurement systems, and many other components that are needed to enable jet engine testing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Enrolled in a program to acquire a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Civil / Structural Engineering & Mechanical Engineers considered) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Any experience with gas turbine special test equipment and facilities.
• Any experience with AutoCAD, NX 3D Modeling, ANSYS Workbench, and Microsoft Office Suite.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
