Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking qualified Test Engineers with TS/SCI clearance to support government programs across multiple locations in Maryland and beyond. The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting on test and evaluation activities for complex systems.

Candidates should have strong Linux, automation testing experience, and familiarity with Java or GoLang. This position offers career advancement across Level 01–04 based on years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.
• US citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of Test Engineering experience for Level 01; more years for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Produce Evaluation Plans, including metric framework, scenarios, threads, timelines, and cross-walks to Tests & Evaluation products.
• Execute the evaluation plan on data collected by Testing Tasks; prepare Evaluation Reports and Status reports.

Required:

• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• Must be a US Citizen
• This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Test Engineering:
• Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience
• Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience
• Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience
• Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Experience with Automation Testing is a plus
• Planning and Execution of Performance Analysis
• Specifying, validating, and adapting Modeling and Simulation for Test and Engineering (T&E) use
• Execute the evaluation plan on data collected by the Testing Tasks
• Produce Evaluation Plans (metric framework, scenarios/threads, timelines, requirements/T&E cross-walk), Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, Status reports; provide input to Government T&E products (e.g., Technology Readiness Assessments, Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, T&E Plans & Procedures and Test Readiness Reports)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• IAT Level II certification
• Experience testing products written in Java or GoLang
• Experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system
• Experience in one (1) or more of the following ten (10): Public Key Enabling (PKE); RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java programming language, Perl programing language , Java EE, Secure web (SSL) and file encryption, LDAP (RedHat directory) Java, Linux (CentOS), Modern IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.), Agile Scrum process
• Use of automated testing tools like Selenium a plus
• Knowledge of ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka a plus
