Jabil is building a new factory in Prince George, VA, onsite startup for large form-factor equipment. The Test Engineering Technician 1 role supports test solution development, fixture manufacturing, and process documentation from ground up.

The candidate will work 2PM–10:30PM, Monday to Friday, with exposure to high-power electronics and complex wiring assemblies. The position requires 0–2 years of experience, strong PC skills, and the ability to operate within a new manufacturing startup

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong PC skills and familiarity with Windows and company software.

Responsabilités

• Assist Test Engineer in developing and qualifying test solutions.
• Provide deliverables to support production for Test and Manufacturing.
• Assist in building testers, fixtures and tooling as needed.
• Provide documentation and training for test solutions implemented.
• Coordinate training and education for test operations with Manufacturing.
• Monitor test yields, efficiency and uptime with targets for improvement.
• Contribute to upgrading test processes for cost efficiency.
• Coordinate test readiness with weekly production schedules.
