Jabil Circuit Inc. in Prince George, VA is hiring an Industrial Engineering Technician II to support the startup of a new factory. You will assist with production layout, process improvements, and data entry in IE systems to drive performance and cost efficiency on site.

The role emphasizes wiring, power electronics, and hands-on setup, with a 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM shift. Collaboration with industrial engineers and lean teams is expected to ensure smooth startup operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (e.g. work measurement, process mapping, facilities and workstation design).
• Eye for detail when updating systems.
• Basic analytical ability.
• Basic communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of PCs and Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare area for line move or process change.
• Update the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB) as directed.
• Update/create production visuals as directed.
• Order, receive and validate tooling as directed.
• Ensure standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
• Support Lean initiatives with data integrity for process improvement.
• Follow all security procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
