- Execute defined test procedures and methodologies on electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using specialized test equipment
- Document test results accurately and completely, including pass/fail status, measurements, and observations
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot failures or defects in electronic circuits and systems down to the component level using schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic tools
- Perform rework and repair activities on failed units in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes and procedures
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree, technical certification, or formal technical training preferred in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and test methodologies
- Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and function generators
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Technical certifications in electrical testing, industrial controls, automation, or electronics troubleshooting preferred
- Experience performing high-voltage electrical testing, including 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC control systems preferred
- Hands-on experience with Hipot (dielectric withstand) testing, insulation resistance testing, and electrical safety validation preferred
- Knowledge of pressure, leak, vacuum, and pneumatic testing methods in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience troubleshooting complex electrical, electromechanical, and test equipment failures preferred
