Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Engineering Manager 2 to lead flight test and field engineers for ICBM launch facilities in VSFB, CA, supporting the Sentinel program. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and cross-team collaboration.

You will oversee test plans, procedures, and training, ensuring facilities are ready for flight tests and meet cost and schedule targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience or Master's with 6 years of related experience, or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with ability to obtain SAP approval
• Minimum 2 years experience with EVMS systems
• 1 year experience leading a technical team as a project or program manager
• Experience supporting US Government contracts or projects and/or project management in other industries
• Experience tracing test requirements to systems engineering framework
• Experience writing test plans and procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Grow, develop, and manage a diverse team of flight test and field engineers preparing ICBM launch facilities and launch centers for flight testing
• Manage personnel conducting missile component movement and emplacement, site post-launch recovery and next launch preparation
• Lead test procedure development and ensure employees are trained and qualified to perform those procedures
• Oversee occupational health and safety across multiple job sites
• Ensure Launch Facilities and Launch Centers are operable, safe, and able to support flight test operations
• Manage test equipment and weapon system components under configuration control
• Collaborate with Northrop Grumman teams, suppliers, and government partners on Sentinel development
• Plan and program ICBM flight test preparation activities addressing cost, schedule, and performance
