Job summary

RTX Minnesota Wind Tunnel Lab is seeking an internship/co-op in Test Engineering on-site at WEST BLDG, US-MN-BURNSVILLE. This role offers hands-on experience evaluating air data sensors and supporting wind tunnel upgrades.

You will learn to work within an engineering team, analyze data from experiments, and contribute to safety-focused aerospace projects. Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or advanced STEM degree and have lab experience and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Test Engineering or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wind tunnel used for the qualification and testing of air data sensors.
• Assist engineers with upgrading the wind tunnels to improve long-term functionality.
• Troubleshoot wind tunnels when there are failures.

What You Will Do:

• Operate a wind tunnel used for the qualification and testing of air data sensors.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Test Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with data analysis.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
