Skyworks Solutions, Inc. offers a Test Engineering Internship designed for college students in BS/MS/PhD programs. You will work on challenging assignments, gain mentorship from industry experts, and participate in learning opportunities while contributing to real projects.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-Starter with good communication skills.
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Create automated test software using language similar to C to control test equipment and execute test plans.
• Support RF fixture and/or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design, and interface cabling design.
• Measure product using test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
• Process, verify, and analyze measured data; prepare concise presentations and reports.
• Document test system and software designs.
• Develop measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET or NI LabVIEW with custom tools.
• Develop product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS.

Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

Skyworks' Test Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Creating automated test software, using language similar to C, to control test equipment and execute test plans
• Supporting RF fixture and/or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design, and interface cabling design
• Measuring product using test equipment like DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators
• Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
• Documenting test system and software designs
• Developing measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET or NI Labview along with custom tools
• Developing product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
