Skyworks Solutions, Inc. invites motivated students for a Test Engineering Internship across the Advanced Cellular groups. You will gain real work experience, mentorship, and opportunities for full-time roles.

Responsibilities include creating automated test software, measuring with a range of test equipment, and analyzing data while documenting designs and leveraging AI tools in rapid prototyping. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience with analog/digital circuit concepts and programming in Python or C#.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create automated test software using object-oriented languages to control test equipment and run test plans.
• Measure products using test equipment such as DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes.
• Process, verify, and analyze data; prepare clear presentations and reports.
• Document test system and software designs; apply AI tools in prototyping workflows.

Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

Skyworks' Test Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Creating automated test software using object-oriented languages to control test equipment and execute test plans
• Measuring products using test equipment like DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and digital pattern generators
• Processing, verifying, and analyzing measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
• Documenting test system and software designs
• Leveraging AI tools in a rapid prototyping workflow

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineeringor Computer Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Analog/RFor digitalcircuit design coursework and/or experience
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, or other object-oriented language
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
