Job summary

Adventure Technology Services, a small IT contractor in Columbia, MD, seeks a Test Engineer level 2 with TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to support federal government projects. You will execute functional and compliance testing, document results, and sustain the full software testing life cycle in a rigorous environment.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux experience and can work independently within a mission-critical setup.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or ten years without a degree, in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Solid Linux experience and ability to work independently in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform application-level and systems testing in support of mission requirements.
• Execute functional testing of COTS and vendor-provided user client applications.
• Verify applications interface correctly with ITS components and meet compliance requirements.
• Develop, execute, and document test cases, procedures, and results throughout the test life cycle.
• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects to resolution.
• Perform testing in Linux environments using command-line tools.
• Support compliance testing against defined technical, security, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and test automation capabilities.
