BCT LLC is seeking a System Test Software Engineer II to join our System Test Team in Maryland. The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI with POLY clearance and experience designing automated test scripts for HPC systems.

The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams and active participation in SAFe ceremonies. Responsibilities include validating system requirements, developing test plans, executing tests, and analyzing results using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Splunk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with 8+ years of software development experience.
• Active TS/SCI with POLY clearance; CI Poly less than five years old.
• Design, develop, and implement testing scripts and strategies, including automated test execution and data analysis.
• Review HPC system documentation, interpret requirements, and test/validate that they are met.
• Collaborate to develop and execute test plans for HPC systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing scripts and strategies, including automated test execution and data analysis.
• Review HPC system documentation, interpret requirements, and develop code to test and validate those requirements.
• Collaborate with team to develop and execute test plans for HPC systems.
• Independently test HPC systems to ensure compliance with test plans and requirements.
• Participate in SAFe events: planning, daily standups, demos, retrospectives.
• Use Linux CLI and scripting (Python, Bash) to troubleshoot hardware and automate tests.
• Develop complex database queries and analyze test data across platforms (Splunk, etc).
• Track, document, and report software defects using JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
• Contribute to REST API testing related to hardware systems.
