Job summary

imec USA’s Florida-based R&D Center focuses on pioneering superconducting electronics for next-generation applications. We develop sustainable technologies addressing the energy needs of data centers, AI, and high-performance computing.

We are seeking a motivated early-career Test Engineer for Superconducting Electronics. You will contribute to testing and characterization of superconducting electronic devices and collaborate with cross-site teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience in device measurement and characterization.
  • Strong Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update automated test software drivers and scripts.
  • Configure test hardware for DC, RF, and digital testing.
  • Contribute to measurement and characterization of superconducting devices.
  • Improve and optimize test methodologies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with design and hardware-to-model leads to solve bottlenecks.
  • Report results to colleagues and customers.
  • Contribute to publications in journals and conferences.
