Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Plymouth, MN seeks an experienced Test Engineer (Level 2) to support armament systems. The role focuses on creating and maintaining production test equipment, performing design verification testing, and supporting the production floor with test infrastructure.

Qualifications include a BS in Physics/EE/CE or equivalent with 2 years of engineering experience, or a MS in a related field; ability to obtain a Secret clearance; and experience with schematics,

Qualifications

• BS in Physics, EE or CE or equivalent with 2 years related STE engineering experience, OR MS in physics/EE/CE or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government secret clearance after starting employment (US citizenship required).
• Read and understand schematics; understand embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Create production test equipment for military/aerospace products, including programming, debugging and deployment to production equipment.
• Design, develop and implement cost-effective testing methods for Design Verification (DVT).
• Maintain and update test equipment supporting functional board level and final testers; support production floor equipment.
