Job summary

Averro is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to own the full testing lifecycle for complex mechanical systems in a regulated environment. You will draft test requirements, design documents, procedures, and final reports with precision.

You will specify and validate instrumentation, coordinate cross-functional lab activities, and ensure safe execution of tests, including work at heights. Prior experience in R&D and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a testing or R&D environment.
• Experience authoring test design documents, procedures, and reports.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical testing concepts including force/displacement, dynamic loading, vibration, and structural deflection.
• Experience selecting and validating instrumentation (strain gauges, load cells, LVDTs, RTDs, or similar sensors).

Responsibilities

• Own the full test lifecycle from requirements to final reports.
• Define and validate instrumentation for accurate data capture.
• Coordinate cross-functional test efforts with technicians and designers.
• Manage test campaigns end-to-end including setup and analysis.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable test specs.
