Job summary

Socket.dev in Wichita, KS is seeking a Test Engineer Level 2 to design and evaluate test development projects in collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure that all specifications meet customer expectations and organizational requirements.

You will develop IC test solutions on automated test equipment (ATE) platforms, configure bench lab equipment, and work with Sales and Operations to cost quote engineering hours and hardware while ensuring data integrity and effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of experience developing IC test solutions on automated test equipment.
• Experience in test program development for digital, analog or mixed-signal ICs.
• Ability to read and interpret semiconductor datasheets and test specifications.
• Ability to manage test developments from start to finish with status reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Excellent communication with internal/external customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop semiconductor component-level test plans to cover device specifications.
• Create and program ATE test software and hardware to test devices per plans.
• Configure bench lab equipment to meet test requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales to cost quote engineering hours and test hardware.
• Coordinate with Operations for production feasibility and costs.
• Troubleshoot problems and analyze test data to drive corrective actions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
