Job summary

Micross Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks a Principal Test Engineer to lead plan, design and evaluate semiconductor test development projects. Experience with memory testing and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is required; relocation is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of IC test development and automated test equipment experience.
• Experience with memory testing and test program development.
• Ability to read datasheets and estimate test program time and costs.
• Proven communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop semiconductor component-level test plans to meet customer specs.
• Develop and program ATE test software and hardware.
• Configure bench lab equipment to meet test requirements.
• Quote engineering hours and test hardware to Sales; assess feasibility.
• Drive corrective actions from test data and coordinate with teams.
