Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Test Engineer I to perform hands-on testing in our Marietta, GA Super Lab. You will handle load, hydrostatic pressure, and lifecycle testing, design fixtures, and generate data-driven reports for diverse components and systems.

The role includes a 90-day training period to review proficiency, safety compliance, and procedural adherence, with opportunities to fabricate fixtures and assist customers with test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in a testing environment.
• Willingness to learn testing techniques, procedures and specifications.
• Ability to perform test programs and use required lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow testing and setup procedures, techniques and specifications.
• Perform basic coding with custom test scripts.
• Build and fabricate custom test rigs and fixtures as needed.
• Learn and adhere to safety procedures.
• Prepare work orders in accordance with QAP for testing to be performed.
• Perform test programs and procedures to written instructions.
• Interpret and evaluate results, communicate to customers effectively.
• Generate reports and documentation as required.
