Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Test Engineer I for our Marietta, GA lab. You will perform material testing including destructive methods, record observations, and produce detailed reports while ensuring adherence to GLP, ISO and safety standards.

Work with cross-functional teams and support project goals, deadlines, and client needs in a lab setting with emphasis on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or Physical Science required.
• 0–2 years in a material testing lab preferred.
• Familiarity with GLP, ISO and safety procedures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct destructive tests on materials, components and finished products.
• Record data and analyze results with detailed reports.
• Ensure testing activities comply with industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with metallurgy, chemistry, environmental and QC teams.
• Oversee project aspects and coordinate with clients to meet deadlines.
