Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Nevada is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a fast-moving hardware team building servers, storage and networking gear. You will train production staff on test processes, troubleshoot issues, and develop Python-based automation tools in Linux environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience, with strong problem-solving, schematic reading, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing test systems and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and diagnostics.
• Experience in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of server hardware and system integration.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.

Maintain test fixtures, adapters, and related test equipment. Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing. maintaining test procedures and specifications. Install hardware, perform rack integration, cable routing, and system configuration. Analyze test data, improve yields, and support continuous process improvements. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing ops, Quality teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience with manufacturing test systems, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis. Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and diagnostics. Experience working in Linux environments, including command‑line operations and shell scripting. Knowledge of server hardware, system integration, and networking fundamentals. Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in PCBA high‑volume manufacturing or production test environments would be plus. Familiarity with SQL databases, Git, and automated test equipment (ATE). Knowledge of networking protocols and server rack integration.
