Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a TD SYNNEX subsidiary, is seeking a detail-oriented engineer in Fremont, CA to design and implement manufacturing test automation for networking devices. The role focuses on Python-based automation, provisioning, and REST API-driven testing while collaborating with Network Engineering, DevOps, and Test Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years hands-on experience architecting and implementing manufacturing test automation solutions.
• Proficient in Python.
• Understanding of microservices (such as API creation) is a plus.
• Experience with automation on networking devices.
• Understanding of hardware development and manufacturing process of data center products.
• Strong background in Network Test Automation knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Design and develop network test automation solutions using Python

Education and Work Experience

BS/MS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields 5+ years hands-on experience architecting and implementing manufacturing test automation solutions Proficient in Python Understanding on how microservices (such as API creation) work is a plus Experience with Automation on Networking devices Understanding of hardware development and manufacturing process of data center products Strong background in Network Test Automation knowledge Demonstrated small/large team leadership and interpersonal skills Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, good time management and task prioritizing skills
