Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer in Fremont, CA to support product testing, validation, and production engineering activities. You will develop and execute test processes across hardware and software, analyze results, and ensure products meet performance and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include planning tests, configuring test setups, documenting results, and providing training and support across multiple hardware and software platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in product functionality, quality, reliability, or system testing.
• Experience testing products containing both hardware and software components preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Windows; Unix experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with C/C++ and testing in a network environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and execute product testing activities.
• Define, organize, and perform detailed tests to verify performance, functionality, quality, and reliability.
• Configure systems and determine appropriate test combinations based on product requirements.
• Support software download, pre-burn, run-in, and post-burn testing processes.
• Define and support test equipment and fixtures.
• Analyze test results and document findings.
• Write error reports and test specifications.
• Perform configuration management of test suites.
• Verify new tests and customer bundles prior to implementation.
• Provide test-related training and technical support.
• Work across hardware and software platforms.
