Job summary

Aehr Test Systems in Fremont, California, is seeking an Applications Engineer- APPS II/APPS III to support test cell integration, test program development, debugging and qualification. You will interface with customers to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and advise on technical projects.

Responsibilities include pre/post-sale support with technical demos, integration with customers’ equipment, and collaboration with SW and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• DFT and structural test methods (Scan/ATP G, JTAG, memory BIST) are required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Ability to work in multilingual and culturally diverse environments.
• On-site support experience is a plus and travel up to 30% will be necessary.
• BSEE degree with 10+ years of industry experience in related support roles.
• Experience in applications and technical support for ATE, Prober, WLBI or burn-in systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide applications support including test cell integration and test program development, debugging, and qualification.
• Interface with customers to identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex hardware and software issues.
• Advise and consult with customers on technical projects, including implementation.
• Provide pre/post-sales support including technical presentations, customer demos and integration with equipment.
• Communicate hardware and software requirements to customers and peers.
• Serve as field escalation focal point between customers and internal teams, providing documentation to field engineers.
• Implement Field Change Orders (software, firmware, hardware releases).
• Deliver customer technical training classes and operations programming.
