Job summary

North Point Technology is hiring a Test Engineer to support a geospatial intelligence capability development program. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and Polygraph readiness, within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team on a DevSecOps workflow.

You will design and execute test strategies, automate and manually test across sprints, and ensure quality in every release while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and mission experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; or Master's degree in a related field.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a Polygraph examination.
• US citizenship required.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, or Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across multiple Agile sprints.
• Design and maintain automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate application performance, reliability, security, and usability.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria.
• Identify and track software defects through resolution and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
