Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Rocket Center, West Virginia, seeks a Test Engineer Level 1/2 with a Computer Science/Electrical background to support our Defense Systems in a primarily on-site role.

The candidate will review test designs, monitor equipment health, and drive software/hardware improvements using DAS, MATLAB, Excel, and VBA. On-site work, 10% travel, and eligibility for a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• Knowledge of test instrumentation and transducers (pressure, force, acceleration, position, temperature).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, Excel).
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance with US Citizenship as a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify static rocket motor test designs/methodologies.
• Monitor area equipment and evaluate hardware health and obsolescence.
• Perform data review and post-test analyses to validate test execution.
