Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer Level 3/4 for on-site work at Rocket Center, West Virginia. You will join an integrated product team supporting complex production programs and work with manufacturing to build electronic products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience (8+ for Level 4), experience with digital subsystems, RF and DSP, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in related industry (3 years with MS or 1 year with PhD).
• Experience developing digital electronic subsystems and circuit card design from high level specifications.
• Knowledge of RF and digital signal processing including signal conditioning, sampling, and algorithms.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate on Integrated Product Teams for complex production programs.
• Work with manufacturing operations to support the build of electronic products.
• Test and debug circuit designs.
• Maintain product technical data package.
• Lead resolution of technical challenges.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability organize/prioritize job assignments and tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a development team.
