Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Engineer Level 1/2 with a CS/Engineering background to support our Defense Systems team at the Rocket Center, West Virginia site. The role involves reviewing test designs, maintaining test equipment, and evaluating hardware health with hands-on DAS and MATLAB work.

The candidate will perform electrical schematic reviews, calibrations, and data analysis, collaborating across disciplines. A Secret clearance is required; US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 0-1 years of relevant experience (Level 1) or 2+ years (Level 2)
• Knowledge of test instrumentation/transducers (pressure, force, acceleration, position, temperature, strain)
• Basic understanding of a PID control system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (WORD, ACCESS and EXCEL)
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to collaborate in a team

Responsabilidades

• Review and verify static rocket motor test designs/methodologies
• Maintain and evaluate deployed equipment and monitor health/obsolescence
• Investigate and implement software/hardware improvements (DAS, MATLAB, Excel/macros)
• Perform electrical schematic reviews and process improvements
• Support post-test data review to validate test execution
