Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS – Owego is seeking a Test Engineer to support testing of advanced mission processor systems. You will perform top-level and subassembly testing, certify and calibrate testers, and troubleshoot failures across production and field assets.

Strong focus on quality procedures and documentation is required. You will populate logs, compile ABLs, and generate quality notifications for hardware issues, leveraging STE tools as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent with 2+ years' professional experience, or related Masters degree.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Experience testing LRUs/SRUs and troubleshooting with diagnostic methods and tools.
  • Adherence to quality procedures within Product Test organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of digital/RF circuitry.

Responsibilities

THE WORK

As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in support of our product line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing top-level and subassembly testing activities.
  • Conducting tester certification and calibration.
  • Troubleshooting test failures for production and field return assets.
  • Performing acceptance testing in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Populating test logs and data sheets.
  • Compiling As-Built Lists (ABL).
  • Generating Quality Notifications for hardware deficiencies

Basic Qualifications
  • Familiarity with testing LRUs/SRUs using various equipment such as environmental chambers, testers, vibe equipment, etc.
  • Be experienced with evaluation/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
  • Adherence to quality procedures within the Product Test organization
  • Obtain a secret clearance

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of digital/RF circuitry
  • Knowledge of circuitry equipment: Oscilloscope, digital multimeter, high frequency measurements, testing, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, perform root cause analysis down to component level
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
