Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Test Engineer to verify and validate data center liquid cooling infrastructure, controllers, and test vehicles. You will plan tests, create test cases, and execute them with engineering support.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree, 5+ years of testing experience, and strong skills in test planning, defect tracking, and test case management; Python experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of related testing experience required.
• Experience writing clear test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test case management systems.
• Experience with test automation and Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure hardware/software meet requirements.
• Create and maintain product test plans and test cases from requirements.
• Lead and execute test plans with engineering technicians support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug test hardware/software interactions.
• Develop software to automate test tasks and build test environments.
• Document issues and proposed fixes, report status to team lead.
