Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio, is seeking a DVT Engineer to execute design verification testing for liquid cooling systems used in AI‑driven datacenters. You will run tests, collect data, troubleshoot in real time, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers in a fast‑paced lab.

The role emphasizes independent execution, off‑shift work, and travel to regional labs to support testing activities and FWT readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
1–4 years of experience in test engineering, lab operations, or product validation.
Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer systems.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and basic electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Execute Design Verification Tests (DVT) according to test plans and procedures.
Set up, operate, and monitor test equipment and liquid cooling systems during second shift operations.
Monitor system performance in real‑time and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Collect, verify, and document accurate test data in accordance with lab standards.
Support data analysis and prepare documentation for FWT activities.
Identify issues and troubleshoot test setup, instrumentation, and system performance.
Travel up to 30% to regional labs and testing facilities.
