Job summary

Sensitron Semiconductor, a longstanding leader in discrete semiconductors and microelectronics, seeks a Test Engineer to drive automated test development and fixture designs. You will develop hardware/software test solutions, mentor junior engineers, and support design reviews with customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or related field), strong data analysis skills, and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• Experience in data gathering and analysis with appropriate software tools.
• Experience with a wide variety of testing tools such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect reporting processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Architect test and burn-in fixture designs (hardware and software) and test plans per customer requirements.
• Mentor less experienced Test Engineers in test methodologies.
• Support internal and external design reviews with customers.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers on test equipment issues (hardware/software) across multiple shifts/facilities.
• Maintain and repair test station hardware/software and adaptors (internal designs and COTS).
• Apply knowledge to ensure test integrity and drive continuous improvement and cost reductions in production testing.
• Work with factory personnel to resolve test-related issues and provide feedback to engineers.
• Present technical recommendations to test, manufacturing, product, and quality teams.
• Develop procedures/tools for test, verification, and certification of products and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is tested, calibrated, and certified.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis for product failures or warranty issues.
• Assist Design Engineers in troubleshooting and repairing returned products.
