Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support the Leidos Production Facility in Vista, CA. You will develop, implement, and maintain testing processes, hardware, and software in manufacturing, with emphasis on ATE programs, fixtures, and testability for new products.

Candidate should have 4+ years in testing/integration, proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, Python, C++, and LabVIEW, and strong communication to support cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; additional experience may substitute.
• 4+ years of experience, including at least 1 year in testing & integration.
• Experience with test plan development and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test strategies, programs, and scripts for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures, test hardware, and debug PCAs to component levels.
• Provide daily production support and troubleshoot assembly/component failures; create troubleshooting guides.
• Analyze data from automated testing to identify trends, improve productivity and yield.
• Collaborate with R&D to introduce new products into manufacturing with Design for Test.
• Document test procedures, specifications, and process changes to maintain quality standards.
