Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support the Vista, CA facility. Develop and maintain testing processes, hardware, and software for manufacturing, create automated test programs, design fixtures, and troubleshoot production to improve yield and ensure product meets specifications.

Key responsibilities include test program development, hardware maintenance, production support, data analysis, NPI collaboration, and documentation to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in testing and integration.
• Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, Python, C++, LabVIEW.
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
• Strong communication and debugging skills.
• Work in manufacturing labs and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test strategies, programs, and scripts for ATE.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and test hardware.
• Troubleshoot production failures and create troubleshooting guides.
• Analyze test data to improve yield and productivity.
• Collaborate with R&D for New Product Introduction (NPI) and testability.
• Document test procedures, specifications, and process changes.
