The Opportunity:

CASI is hiring multiple Test Engineers to join our Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Interface and Data Conversion Team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We seek candidates knowledgeable in testing tools with the ability to execute regression testing of interfaces before releases and plan test cases based on releases. You will operate as a functional system tester, preparing reports for the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and oversee test programs.
• Support testing of systems and applications developed for the project.
• Analyze, evaluate, test, review, study, and document all testing efforts.
• Apply expertise on complex work assignments, developing methodologies and solutions.
• Coordinate across development efforts to ensure system interfaces and data conversion decisions meet requirements.
• Collaborate with analysts to understand business processes and legacy data.
• Develop expertise in COTS tools, financial processes, and ERP best practices under guidance.
• Lead functional testing, develop test scenarios, and validate interfaces and conversions.
• Implement quality assurance standards and seek process improvements.
• May mentor junior resources.

Qualifications:

Required:

• US citizenship
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years relevant experience (additional experience may substitute).
• Ability to pass Tier 2 MBI background check.
• Experience with Momentum Financials front-end and database.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Self-starter, quick learner.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Desired:

• Experience with Federal Financial Management systems.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with interface development and data conversion.
• SQL writing and execution skills.

Pay Range:
